Venerable Theodora of Alexandria (commemorated September 11) is a powerful witness to repentance, humility, and God’s mercy. Tempted, deceived, and later falsely accused, she embraced hidden asceticism, raised a child in exile, and by prayer worked a miracle during drought—a journey from fall to holiness that still speaks to us today.

In this video, we recount her life from Alexandria to the monastery: the temptation she faced, her heartfelt confession, her courageous decision to live in a men’s monastery in humility, the slander that drove her into poverty, and the grace that vindicated her after death.
